The Northern Vermont Wildcats are thrilled to announce that Anthony Langevin (AHI Fighting Spirit) has committed to play NCAA Division 2 Ice Hockey for the Franklin Pierce University Ravens, this upcoming fall.
Langevin is a 1993 birth year originally from Albany, NY and currently plays for the American Hockey Institute (AHI) Fighting Spirit Junior A Men's Ice Hockey Team in the Northern States Hockey League (NSHL). So far this year, he is currently in the league's top 10 in scoring and has a 16-17-33 scoring line in 29 games for the Fighting Spirit. Before the Spirit, he played for Canterbury School, which plays in the New England Prep League.
For the last 3 seasons, Langevin has served has "Captain" of the Wildcat Junior A team and has led the team in scoring as well as helped them capture 4 prestigious Championship titles.

"Not only is he my nephew, but he is one of our hardest workers on our Junior A team and leads by example towards other players. We are extremely glad that we have brought him into our coaching staff for younger Wildcat teams as he shares the same passion that all of us in the Front Office posses about our Wildcat program."
