This past weekend, the Northern Vermont Wildcats Senior Adult Men's team captured the Clifton Park Senior Men's Hockey League's annual Calder Cup Playoff Championship Tournament. The Wildcats went 2-1-0 in the tournament and outscored their opponents 16-3 in their three games.
In the 1st game of the 2015 season, the Wildcats lost a heartbreaker, 3-2, to the Red Warriors. The Warriors scored with 0.3 seconds left to upset the top seeded Wildcats. In their 2nd game, the Wildcats out muscled Ravenswood White: 5-0. In a must win final game, the Wildcats did not disappoint en route to a 9-0 win over the 2-time defending tournament champion: Clifton Park Bruins and the big win secured the 1st Tournament Title of the 2015 Season for the Wildcats!
