The Northern Vermont Wildcats are pleased to announce that goaltender Tyler Ellor has committed to play NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey for the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats.
The Wildcats currently sit one point out of first place in the ECAC Northeast Div III Hockey conference and is located in downtown RI where they play their games at the Lynch Arena. The team is Coached by Eric Noack, an RIT graduate, who is in his 12th season behind the Wildcat bench. The Saratoga Springs, NY native played last season in the USPHL where he decided to switch leagues and mind the nets for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack in the EHL, a move that worked well for the 20 year old veteran netminder.
"I am extremely excited for this step in my hockey career. College hockey has been my top goal since the beginning," Ellor was quoted saying.
Good luck to Tyler and the Wildcats next year! Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
