Over this past weekend, the Squirt Minors won the 2015 Green Mountain Avalanche (GMA) AAA Elite Spring Classic Tournament with a convincing 10-0 win over 14th Star Hockey.

In Game 1 of the tournament on Friday, the 'Cats rolled over the hosts, Green Mountain Avalanche, 12-0 to start the tournament off on the right foot. Game 2 Saturday morning was a different story as a 2004/2005 birth year team, Cardinal Selects, gave the 'Cats a good game, but it wasn't enough as they pulled out a 5-2 win. In Game 3, 14th Star Hockey shocked the 'Cats and pulled away with a 2-1 win, although 14th Star was outshot over 2-1.

In the Championship Game, the 'Cats and the coaching staff were determined to play the "Wildcat Way" and play a full 36 minutes of hockey. The team did just that and bounced back from a 2-1 loss the night before to a convincing 10-0 win in the Championship Game!
