The Northern Vermont Wildcats are excited to announce that 1994 birth year Ryan Chauvin has committed to play NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey for the Worcester State Lancers in the MASCAC. Chauvin joins Wildcat teammate Cody Weaver in being the 2nd Wildcat this year to commit to Worcester State!

Last season, Chauvin played for the New England Wolves in the AEHL and helped the Wolves to a Regular Season and Playoff Championship title, leading the team in points.

The New England Wolves had the following to say about Chauvin... "The 5’8 165 forward from Massena, NY is a highly instinctive and creative player who makes plays and scores goals, which is evident in his 30-36-66 stat line in 54 games.  “Ryan is a gifted goal scorer who has scored at every level”, offers Coach Brett Tryder.  “He has a real feel for the game and has a great touch around the net.  His skills lend themselves well to the MASCAC League”.   “Ryan is one of those players who plays with his head up and has excellent vision”, states Coach Steve Jacobs.  “He is a dangerous player below the circles and is a natural goal scorer.  Ryan also scores high in character and is a great teammate”,  concludes Jacobs." We want to congratulate Ryan and his family on this incredible accomplishment and best of luck next year to the Lancers on the ice!
