2003 Premier team, and all other Championship winning teams, went 4-0-0 in their division!

The Northern Vermont Wildcats Hockey Program swept the Jr. Monarchs Spring Classic Tournament, winning all 4 divisions: Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam. In addition, 2 Championships featured only Wildcat teams, and one team took 3rd place out of 8 teams in a birth year division higher than what they should be playing at. An incredible weekend the Premier teams put together, to kick off their start of the Wildcat season!

The 2007 Premier team captured the Mite Division Championship with a 3-1 impressive win over the Vermonsters squad. Before reaching the finals, the team defeated the Putnam Panthers 18-0, the Cardinal Selects 13-3, and the Vermonsters, 6-4, on Friday night. The team went 4-0-0 on the weekend, as well.

The 2005 Premier team captured the Squirt Division Championship with a close win over our own 2006 Premier team! What a great game by both teams! Before having a Wildcat vs. Wildcat Championship Game, the 2005 Premier squad defeated the Cardinal Selects 05: 8-0, Maple City Mayhem's top team: 7-2, and the Vermonsters: 7-0. The team impressed everyone with a 4-0-0 record on the weekend.

The 2003 Premier team went 4-0-0 during the weekend and captured the Peewee Division Championship with a 4-3 win over the West River Battalion. Before the match-up in the finals, though, the 2003 Premier team defeated a relentless Seacoast Spartans squad: 4-1 in the Semi-Finals and the Cardinal Selects: 4-1, Maple City Mayhem 10-0, and Seacoast Spartans 5-1, in the preliminary round.

The 2001 Premier team captured the Bantam Division Championship, for one last time, with a win over our own 2002 Premier team! The team went undefeated all weekend long (4-0-0 record) and dominated every opponent they played against: 10-0 win over Wilmington Wildcats, 7-3 win over Cardinal Selects, and a 7-1 win over the Rebels Hockey Club from Canada.

The 2006 Premier and 2002 Premier teams took home Runner Up trophies, as they both fell to our own Wildcat teams in the respective Championship Games. Great weekend, by both teams! Playing up a division, didn’t stop them!

Congratulations to the 2004 Premier team on taking home a Bronze Medal finish, falling 4-3 in 3OT in the 2003 Division Semi-Finals! Great work, team!

This past weekend was a STATEMENT WEEKEND for all teams and the entire program! Great job done by all! #WildcatHockey #WildcatFamily #StatementsMade #FirstClass #OurTradition
