The Northern Vermont Wildcats kicked off their season sending their U14 and U12 teams to the Western Mass Spring Meltdown, in Western Massachusetts this past weekend. Both teams went a perfect 4-0-0 and won their Divisional Championships!

The U14 team kicked off the tournament with a 5-1 win over a tough Berkshire Bruins team, on Friday afternoon. Friday night they battled against a speedy Maine Gladiators (Bodwell) team and won 5-0. Saturday afternoon, the team faced a determined Hanover Wild team. The Wild battled hard, but the 'Cats would pull out a 3-2 win to grab the #1 seed heading into the Championship Game. 

The U14s would defeat the #2 seeded Maine Gladiators, 5-0, in the Championship Game to win the Western Mass Spring Meltdown. Congrats to all players and coaches on a great start to the season! #RollCats
