Peewees went 5-0-0 on the weekend to take home the prestigious title! The Wildcat Peewee Majors were determined to end their season on a high note, after a few tough losses in a tournament in Jay Peak, VT, last month... The Peewees did just that.
Game 1 on Friday afternoon was all Wildcats from start to finish. They ran past the Jersey Rockz 11-0. Game 2 Saturday afternoon featured a tough game against the Walpole Express. The Wildcats pulled out a close 3-1 win. Game 3 Saturday night was a great game with the Exton Bulls... the Wildcat fire power wasn't enough as the 'Cats won 6-0. Sunday morning against the Tri Lake Timberwolves showed the Bay State why the Wildcats are a fierce Peewee team. A good Tri Lake team had a lot to handle, and the Wildcats took the game with a 6-0 win.
A completely focused Peewee team showed up to the Championship Game, Sunday afternoon. From start to finish, once again, the Wildcats dominated play and ended their great season with an 8-4 win over the Walpole Express. Great weekend of hockey and a 5-0-0 record for the team!
The NVW Program would like to thank all parents, players, and fans for a GREAT Peewee season! 2 Tournament Championships out of a total of 3 tournaments, as well as a 10-3-0 final record for the 2014 season! Special thanks to coaches: Henri Langevin, Dave Stores, Pat Pettit, Anthony Langevin, and George Cairns for pushing players to do the best they can! Once again, congratulations to the Peewees and we hope to see you back for our 2015 campaign!
