Cody Weaver will play for the Lancers in the MASCAC, next season!

The Northern Vermont Wildcats are thrilled to announce that Junior A stand out defenseman, Cody Weaver, has committed to play NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey for the Worcester State Lancers, in the MASCAC.

Last year, Weaver played for the New England Wolves Junior A AEHL Hockey team, based out of Waterville Valley, NH. He captained the Wolves to a Regular Season and Playoff AEHL Championship title. Before the Wolves, Weaver skated for the AHI Fighting Spirit in the NSHL and led the Spirit defensemen in points, and anchored the team to an appearance in the National Championship tounament, which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"I wouldn't be the player I am without the Langevin Family. The Wildcat Program is an incredible opportunity for players looking to not only make it, but to play at the next level. I was showcased well and was pushed to play to the best of my ability playing with the Wildcats," Weaver was quoted saying.

We wish Cody and his family the best of luck at Worcester and good luck to the Lancers in their 2015-16 season campaign!
