NVW take home 3 Gold Medals and dominate competition!

2005 Premier team went 5-0-0 and defeated the Maple City Mayhem, 6-2, in Gold Medal Game!

The Northern Vermont Wildcats sent their 2002 through 2005 Premier teams to the Montreal AAA Spring Showdown in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, last weekend. The program, once again, impressed everyone as it came home with 3 Gold Medal winners and a Bronze Medal winner. The program combined for an 18-2-0 record and defeated many strong programs from Canada, as well as the United States.

The 2002 Premier team went 3-2-0 on the weekend and won the Bronze Medal Game over Black Ice Hockey's 2001 team, 6-2. The team competed in the 2001 division for the tournament and held their own in the very competitive division. Congrats to coaches Mark Murphy, Jean Tardif, and Chuck Wiegand on a great weekend and taking home the Bronze Medal!

The 2003 Premier team went 5-0-0 on the weekend and won the Gold Medal Game over the Montreal Kings: 8-0. Each game the team was able to get stronger as a unit and after a scoreless 1st period in the Gold Medal Game, the 'Cats exploded for 8 goals in the final 2 periods to take home the Gold Medal! Great work by Coach Bryan Murray and the squad!

The 2004 Premier team went 5-0-0 on the weekend and won the Gold Medal Game over the Midstate (NY) Knights: 6-0. The day before, the 'Cats squeaked out a 3-2 victory over the Knights but the team came ready to play for the Gold Medal on Sunday! Congrats to coaches Bryan Murray, Mark Murphy, Anthony Langevin, Henri Langevin, and Mike Marchionda on a job well done!

The 2005 Premier team went 5-0-0 on the weekend and won the Gold Medal Game over the Maple City Mayhem: 6-2. Each and every game the team was able to get stronger and stronger as a unit and started to play better and better hockey against their opponents. Congrats to the team, as well as coaches Anthony Langevin, Henri Langevin, Mike Marchionda, and Ty Gagne on a dominating performance last weekend!
