Zero led the Jr Senators to a National Championship appearance The Northern Vermont Wildcats are thrilled to announce that Jeff Zero has committed to play NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey for Elmira College, for next season.
Zero just finished his second season with the Binghamton Junior Senators in the NA3HL. He finished as the #1 goalie in the NA3HL in Goals Against Average (GAA). He finished with an overall 17-3-0 Regular Season record and led the team to many key wins, including sweeping Coastal Division foe Northeast Generals in all 4 games.
With the Wildcats, Jeff also anchored the Junior A team to strong performances in summer showcases, like the Chowder Cup, in Boston. He drew much college attention leading the 'Cats to key victories between the pipes.
“I couldn't be more excited for Jeff. He is a great kid who comes from a phenomenal family. We've leaned on him many times for the SENS during the fall/winter season and he responded well. We look forward to following him at Elmira next season!†General Manager Anthony Langevin was quoted saying.
Congrats to Jeff and his Family and good luck to the Soaring Eagles next season!
